#WhoDunnit
Those closest to me know that aside from lemonade... my guiltiest pleasure is sitting down in front of the television on any given day, be it morning, noon, or night (and sometimes at 4 am)... to watch the macabre... "Snapped", "Dateline", "The First 48", and any other "whodunnit" murderous mystery involving family members, friends or associates. Now, my husband and loved ones can rest easy, because my intrigue is simply to get into the mind of the persons involved... not to see what's the best way to off my dear hearts. I am not sure if it's my background in psychology...my desire to understand a warped mind or situation, or simply the art of the hunt...but I flip the channels to find these shows, and can truly make a day of it.
I thought to myself the other day, "how can one 'off' a lover, or parent, or even a step-child without feeling a sense of remorse?" There are some wacky folks out here, and it pays to understand and truly get to know those who you enter into relationships with quickly in my opinion. Be it financial gain, angst over a broken heart, or rage. The thing that gets me every time is that there is a point in the program in which no one knows who the culprit is... and yet again... we all think... someone HAS to know "whodunnit". That feeling that you get when the wheels start turning in your head, or the hairs stand up on the back of your neck...you've picked out the slayer and everyone is still questioning suspects... well... they've got to do their jobs.
I find it interesting that we get a small window into a heinous world in which law enforcement members encounter every single day. While we are sleeping or going about our daily lives, they are picking apart a lie, sorting sketchy details and putting together gruesome puzzle pieces. This may not be a happy-go-lucky blog piece to my readers, but once again... it touches on something that I truly enjoy. What are some of your not so peachy things that you simply can't get enough of? I enjoy splitting my television time with reading a great murder suspense novel as well...
